400G OSFP To QSFP-DD DAC latest product solution

2024-03-20 Visits:81 Leave a message

The rapid development of technology cannot be separated from high-speed and high-bandwidth data transmission. Traditional 10 Gigabit Ethernet has been unable to meet this demand, so 400G Ethernet technology has become a new hot spot. As a key component of the connector, the 400G OSFP To QSFP-DD DAC cable has also emerged.

Features:

400Gbps OSFP to QSFP-DD Passive High-Speed Cable

The product complies with CMIS4.0, OSFP-MSA, and QSFP-DD MSA standards

Ethernet complies with IEEE802.3cd

Support 56G (PAM4) electrical data rate/channel

Support I2C dual-wire string interface, easy to control

Support hot plug

Low crosstalk/low power

The longest transmission distance can reach 3 meters

Comply with ROHS standards

OSFP is an eight-channel small pluggable optical module that contains eight high-speed electrical channels, each running at 50Gb/s, for a total bandwidth of 400Gb/s, and enables a 400G OSFP interconnection ecosystem. This will greatly help traditional OSFP users to upgrade link bandwidth to 400G per port at lower cost and shorter transition time.

OSFP-DD (four small form-factor pluggable dual density) doubles the OSFP interconnection density through an 8-channel electrical interface, enabling 28Gbps NRZ or 56Gbps PAM-4, thereby achieving 200 or 400 Gbps per port aggregation.  The backward compatibility of the OSFP-DD product portfolio allows existing QSFP modules to be inserted into QSFP-DD ports, providing low loss and less skew. It has good heat dissipation and signal integrity performance.

In addition, the 400G OSFP to QSFP-DD DAC cable adopts a Twinax architecture, combining the two standards of OSFP and QSFP-DD. This allows it to achieve significant improvements in transmission speed, power consumption, and density. The product is widely used in 400G Ethernet, switches, routers, data centers, cloud servers, data storage, and the communications industry.
