Product Features


The interface dimensions comply with the GJB599B (MIL-DTL-38999) Series Ⅲ, and the performance meets the ARINC801 standard.

It is suitable for use in aviation, electronics, naval vessels, and other systems for multi-channel optical communication.

It employs an expanded beam lens package, and the optical fiber mating mode is non-contact.

The ceramic ferrule is of a closed O-ring type, significantly enhancing the insertion and withdrawal life of the product.

Due to the adoption of expanded beam technology, the optical fiber contact exhibits strong resistance to dust and dirt.

The installation and removal tool for the contact is M81969/14-03, providing convenient operation.


Mechanical Properties

• Mechanical Life: 2000 cycles of insertion and extraction
• Shock: Peak acceleration of 2940m/s2, lasting for 3ms, with a velocity change rate of 5.61m/s
• Vibration: 10Hz to 2000Hz, with a power spectral density of 1.0G2/Hz, and a root mean square (RMS) acceleration value of 23.1G
• Tensile Strength: ≥68N (for 2mm contact jumper)


Environmental Performance

• Temperature Range: -55℃ to +125℃ (depending on the optical cable temperature)
• Salt Spray:

  • Class K: 500 hours

  • Class F: 48 hours

  • Class W: 500 hours

  • Class MW: 192 hours (acidic atmosphere)
    • Hermeticity (suitable for hermetic adapter sockets): Gas leakage rate ≤1×10-9Pa.m3/s, with an internal and external pressure difference of 1 atmosphere


Optical Performance

• Insertion Loss: ≤0.6dB @ 850nm; ≤0.8dB @ 1310nm
• Return Loss: ≥20dB @ 850nm; ≥45dB @ 1310nm
