The RT2 Series High-Speed Backplane Connector complies with the VITA41/VITA46/48 standards and is specifically designed for application in VME bus systems. It represents a military-grade, high-density, high-speed, modular, and versatile connector solution.

Features:

  • Modular and Combinable Structure: Enables integrated and mixed transmission of various signals including differential, single-ended, and power signals, providing flexibility and scalability.

  • High-Speed Transmission: Capable of achieving transmission rates up to 6.25Gbps, with potential scalability to 10Gbps, ensuring efficient data transfer for demanding applications.

  • High Density Differential Pairs: Each module accommodates up to 32 differential pairs, achieving a remarkable node density of 113/inch (or 56 pairs/inch), maximizing space utilization and reducing system footprint.

  • Press-Fit Termination: Features a press-fit termination method, eliminating the need for soldering, which simplifies the assembly process, reduces manufacturing time, and enhances reliability.

This connector is ideal for military and aerospace applications requiring high-performance, compact, and modular connectivity solutions. Its design ensures reliable signal integrity, high-speed data transfer, and easy integration into complex systems.

  • Mechanical Endurance: Rated for 500 insertion-extraction cycles, ensuring durability and reliability under frequent use.

  • Shock Resistance: Capable of withstanding shock forces of 294m/s² (30g), with a half-sine wave pulse duration of 11ms, ensuring robustness against sudden impacts.

  • Random Vibration: Tested and qualified for random vibrations ranging from 10 to 2000Hz, with a power spectral density of 0.2G²/Hz, guaranteeing stable performance in environments with significant vibrations.
